Tiers Are Based on E0 Endgame
All rankings in this Honkai Star Rail tier list assume E0 (no Eidolons) unless noted. E6 versions of 4-star characters can elevate significantly — E6 Pela, for example, becomes a genuine A-Tier Nihility support in DoT teams.
Mode Matters — One Size Doesn't Fit All
The HSR tier list 2026 evaluates characters across MoC, Apocalyptic Shadow, and Pure Fiction. Acheron dominates Apocalyptic Shadow but is weaker in Pure Fiction. Always match your team to the active mode.
Team Synergy Beats Individual Tier
A B-Tier character in the perfect team beats an S-Tier character without synergy. Blade with Bronya + Luocha outperforms a mismatched Acheron team. Build cohesive compositions first, then consult the HSR tier list for refinements.
Light Cone & Relic Quality Changes Everything
Our Honkai Star Rail rankings assume best-in-slot or craftable Light Cones with correctly rolled Relics. A signature Light Cone can shift a character up one full tier — plan your pulls accordingly.

The Herta: Confirmed S-Tier ① New Top
The Herta dethrones Acheron as the #1 character in the HSR tier list 2026 following her banner rerun and Pure Fiction dominance in Version 3.2.
Mydei: S-Tier Entry New Character
Version 3.2's new limited 5-star Mydei (Remembrance, Fire) launches directly into S-Tier. His self-sustain loop and massive AOE break damage make him top-tier in Apocalyptic Shadow.
Fugue: Buffed → S-Tier Buffed
Super Break DMG coefficient increased by 15%. Fugue moves from A-Tier to S-Tier in the HSR tier list, now considered mandatory in Firefly break compositions.
Blade: A → B Tier Power Crept
No direct nerf, but Mydei and Firefly powercreep pushes Blade to B-Tier. His self-sustain loop is still viable but underperforms the current S-Tier Destruction options.
Pela: C-Tier Reassessment Niche Rise
E6 Pela's DEF shred is re-evaluated as S-Tier support specifically for Acheron teams where a second Nihility unit isn't available. E0 Pela remains C-Tier.
